We are currently seeking an experienced Manual Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in manual testing and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop, document and execute test cases based on product requirements and design specifications
Identify, document and track software defects and work with the development team to ensure they are resolved
Perform exploratory testing to identify issues that may not be covered by existing test cases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are delivered on time and meet quality standards
Participate in product design and requirement reviews to provide feedback on testability
Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
Provide regular status updates on testing progress and issue resolution

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
7-10 years of experience in manual testing
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in testing web-based and mobile applications
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience in working with defect tracking tools such as JIRA
Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
ISTQB certification is a plus
