Manual QA Tester

In Norconsulting we are currently looking for a Manual QA Tester to join us in India in a freelancer opportunity for a major Banking organization.

Duration: long term

Location: India - Remote

Rate: between145 USD/day - 180USD/day (around 3000 - 3900 per month)

Type of assignment: Full-time (8h/day, Monday to Friday)

We are looking for a seasoned Manual QA Tester to join a high-impact, multi-disciplinary product delivery team supporting the modernization and support of the MIGA Guarantee System and Portal Applications for the World Bank Group. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in manual testing methodologies, working within Agile/Scrum frameworks, and a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across complex financial and portal-based systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 58 years of hands-on experience in manual QA testing of enterprise web applications.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile (SAFe) practices.
• Strong analytical skills for identifying edge cases, data discrepancies, and business logic gaps.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools for test case management and bug tracking.
• Comfortable with REST API testing using tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with SQL for basic data verification and test preparation.
• Ability to validate applications deployed on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
