Manual QA Tester (FinTech)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester with 25 years of experience to join our growing FinTech team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of financial applications by performing comprehensive manual testing, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications in a FinTech environment.

Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.

Identify, document, and track software defects and bugs using bug tracking tools.

Conduct functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and UAT support.

Work closely with developers, product managers, and business teams to ensure product quality.

Validate financial transactions, payment flows, and data accuracy.

Participate in requirement analysis and sprint planning meetings.

Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards relevant to FinTech.

Required Skills

25 years of experience in Manual Software Testing.

Experience testing web and mobile applications.

Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.

Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar).

Good knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.

Ability to write clear test cases and test scenarios.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience working in FinTech, banking, or payment applications.

Basic understanding of SQL queries and database testing.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.

• Exposure to automation testing tools is a plus.
