About you and the role:

SailPoint is seeking aSoftwareEngineering Manager to leadafront-endteamfor the Identity Product. This Engineering team has the responsibility and technicalexpertiseto drive the feature development amongst thebroader Identity Product Engineering team to help ensure that our customers are providedtimelyand high-quality releases for Identity Product.

This responsibility includesoversighta team of UI Engineers and QA Engineers. You willwork with Product Managers to ensure business requirements are understood, estimated, developed, tested, and released to our customers.

To lead this team, we are looking to bring on an experienced and motivational manager who willbe responsible forleading all aspects of Identity Product which relate to how our customersutilizethe product to solve their complex identity and access management challenges in unique ways. A background in Agile software development environment is preferred.

This is ahigh-visibility leadership rolewith deeporganization exposure,influenceand ownership of mission-critical systems.

WhatYou'llMake Happen:

• Listen to what your team needs to deliver better UI software, then proactively do those things.

• Partner with Product Management to ensure your teams have clear tactical and strategic backlogs.

• Balance competing priorities to ensure we effectively ship new features while resolving defects and managing technical debt.

• Introduce, run, tweak, andoptimizeteam project management processes, as the principal owner of your team's delivery.

• Recruit, coach, develop, and motivatehigh performingfront-end developers.

• Proactivelyseekto listen and find alignment with other engineering teams and stakeholders by understanding your teams technology, building strong relationships, and insisting on high-quality solutions that solve multiple strategic challenges at once.

Role Requirements:

• 2+ years in a Software Engineering Management role on front-end web applications

• 5+years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer

• Deep knowledge of and experience with agile processes and workflows

• Technical experience and fluency in front-end architecture, enabling easy discussions with engineers

• Experience handling multiple stakeholders concerns live, in meetings, with aplomb

• Excellent communication skills

UI tech stack:

• Frameworks/Languages: Angular (13+) or React, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS,HTML ,NodeJS

• Testing Frameworks: Cypress, Jest, Selenium

• CI/CD:Cloudbees, Jenkins, AWS

Pluses (or ThingsYou'llLearn on the Job):

• Experience tuning andoptimizingteam processes using qualitative & quantitative feedback

• Experience implementing &maintaininga feedback-driven culture where it is routine to ask for feedback on performance

• Experience on teams shipping SaaS products for consumers or businesses
