Manager, Total Rewards Processes

Location: Hyderabad, India

We are seeking a Total Rewards Business Partnering Lead – APAC to drive Lonza Group's Total Rewards agenda in support of One Lonza and our business platforms, with primary accountability for China, India, and Singapore. Based in Hyderabad, this role ensures competitive, compliant, and business‑aligned reward solutions while contributing to global initiatives and supporting transformation programs, including the establishment of Lonza's Global Capability Center (GCC) in India.

Role Purpose / Summary

This role is part of the global Total Rewards Analytics and Delivery function and is responsible for managing and coordinating core Total Rewards processes. The role ensures operational accuracy, regulatory awareness, and continuous process improvement in close collaboration with regional and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Annual Compensation review: Manage and support key operational activities across the annual compensation review process, including tracking and coordinating requests, organizing process calls, performing data accuracy and validation checks, supporting data clean-up activities, generating system reports, and contributing to process analysis.
  • Share Plan Process Management: support the Share Plan Manager and Share Plan Analyst in process management activities, including nomination, grant, vesting events.
  • Recognition Program Management: support the management of the recognition program, including monitoring compliance, vendor management and budgeting process.
  • Financial planning / accrual process support: Coordinate and organize data required for financial planning and accrual processes, manage relevant data interfaces, and own annual merit budget planning activities.
  • Enhancement Projects: Support the deployment of new Total Rewards initiatives to ensure seamless integration into existing processes. This includes contributing to the conceptual redesign of process enhancements supported by data and analysis, preparing draft materials and presentations for relevant stakeholders, and participating in deployment activities such as training sessions and presentations.
  • Process Analysis & documentation: Conduct thorough analyses of existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, streamlining workflows, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of compensation processes, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance with industry best practices.
  • Vendor Management: Liaises with Total Rewards vendors and manages internal purchasing and contracting processes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and IT, to understand business requirements and ensure seamless integration of compensation processes.

Required Skills& Competencies

  • Experienced user of other MS Office applications
  • Ability to create compelling stakeholder-adapted visual materials (e.g. presentations, training videos etc)
  • Analytical skills: diagnostics, problem solving, ability to use data to present a story
  • An ability to think through processes end-to-end, ability to stay organized in the midst of multiple, differing projects
  • Demonstrated process / project management experience
  • Strong Total Rewards technical knowledge including expertise in Share Plan Management
  • A quality mindset
  • Ability to work within a global team
