Job Purpose:
This role forms part of Mashreq's Network Services team and assists with the administration and management of network platform across the bank.
To support the WAN networks connecting to International locations and branch offices, we need to hire network engineer.
Network expert resource to technically validate the network solutions and design.
Maintains smooth operation Bank's IT network services. Duties control administration, maintaining system documentation, tuning, and troubleshooting system performance.
Enabling service for the business operations. Backup & recovery administration. Ensuring smooth operation of all network systems and enabling user requests.
Key Result Areas:
- Demonstrable Network Engineering experience achieved in an enterprise, complex technology environment
- Significant background in core networking fundamentals - route switch, datacenter, enterprise, and campus network topologies.
- Excellent technical knowledge in Routing and Switching Technologies
- Excellent technical knowledge in Cloud networking
- Excellent technical knowledge in links connectivity
- Significant transformation / migration experience
- Vendor agnostic approach with demonstrable experience of software-defined networks, network automation
- Demonstrate experience with SDWAN technologies
- Vendor management
- Creating and improving governing processes within the technical teams including change management, configuration management, workflow, and escalation/reporting.
- Working with the vendors and suppliers thatprovide staff outsourcing, network equipment, hardware support, software, and leased carrier services in concertwith internal procurement and contract areas.
- Assisting with the enhancement of the network in accordance with the ICT strategic plan, in alignment with the business objectives of the organization.
- Assisting with the development of billing analysis/trending and tracking control measures within the telephony/leased carrier services area.
- Assisting with the development of an ITIL style service portfolio for the area.
- Assisting with the creation of documentation appropriate for use by the management team and both internal and external auditors
- Maximum uptime of IT network & voice Infrastructure & meeting the SLA.
- Administration &; maintenance of Bank's IT network Infrastructure.
- Compliance to Mashreq Information security policies & adherence to security baselines.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Working knowledge on Solarwinds , PRTG network tools.
- Sound understanding and knowledge on cloud firewalling technologies.
- CCIE Enterprise or Datacenter certification is Preferred.
- CCNP certifications is a must.
- Solution Architect certifications in domain of Cloud (preferred).
- Deep understanding in Information Security. CISSP certifications (desirable)
- Ability to understand and work in a multicultural environment.
