Role Summary

EY is seeking a Senior Workplace Technology Engineer to support and optimize enterprise end-user and collaboration platforms. The role focuses on Tier 2+ operations, incident leadership, and continuous improvement across Microsoft workplace technologies in a large, complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2+ support for workplace and end-user technologies.
• Lead major incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive actions.
• Support and enhance Microsoft 365, Teams, Windows, and Intune environments.
• Ensure endpoint compliance, security, and patch/driver lifecycle management.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting using logs, diagnostics, and analytics.
• Partner with global teams to improve service stability, performance, and user experience.
• Drive automation and standardization to improve operational efficiency.

Must Have - Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in end-user / workplace IT operations (Tier 2 or higher).
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Windows Client, and Intune.
• Experience with compliance, patching, and driver lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, log analysis, and troubleshooting tools (KQL, diagnostics, meeting quality analytics).
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals impacting real-time communications (jitter, packet loss, QoS).
• Proven experience managing complex incidents and RCA in enterprise environments.

Nice to Have - Preferred

• Experience with Teams Rooms, SIP/SBC, or advanced UC troubleshooting.
• Exposure to Log Analytics, Endpoint Analytics, or Power BI.
• Experience with automation (Intune Remediations, Azure Automation, APIs).
• ITIL Foundation or Microsoft certifications (Endpoint Administrator, Teams Engineer).
