Key Responsibilities
-Manage end-to-end Direct and Indirect Taxation activities, ensuring timely statutory compliance.
-Prepare, review, and file Income Tax, TDS, GST, and other applicable statutory returns.
-Ensure timely payment of taxes and compliance with all applicable tax regulations.
-Handle tax audits, assessments, notices, scrutiny, and liaise with statutory authorities and consultants.
-Prepare tax reconciliations, working papers, and documentation for audits and assessments.
-Provide tax advisory and support to internal stakeholders on business transactions, contracts, and commercial matters.
-Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure timely implementation of regulatory updates.
-Coordinate with finance, accounting, and business teams to ensure accurate tax accounting and reporting.
-Prepare MIS reports, tax dashboards, and management presentations related to taxation and compliance.
-Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls around taxation.
Qualifications & Experience
-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
-4–5 years of post-qualification experience in Direct and Indirect Taxation.
-Hands-on experience in handling statutory compliances, tax audits, assessments, and tax advisory.
-Experience in real estate, EPC, construction, manufacturing, or project-based industries will be an added advantage.
Key Skills
-Strong knowledge of Direct Taxation, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
-Experience in handling tax assessments, notices, audits, and departmental correspondence.
-Good understanding of accounting principles and tax implications on business transactions.
-Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Tally, etc.) and Advanced MS Excel.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
-Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
