Manager - Tax Advisory

Karia Consultancy is hiring on behalf of our client Grant Thonrton.

Primary Duties

• Deliver a full range of tax advisory services in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise.
• Provide innovative tax planning and review complex tax returns.
• Identify risks, manage tax exposures, and mitigate tax risks by providing tax planning, structuring, and highlighting tax implications.
• Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
• Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
• Manage and coordinate tax audits.
• Inform management of changes in the tax environment, as well as the ramifications of tax legislation changes.
• Manage and lead the tax advisory team.

Decision Making Authority

In coordination with Senior Managers, Directors & Partners.

Supervisory Responsibility

• Strong client relations and ability to perform new jobs.
• Recognize and evaluate the materiality and significance of tax related issues and recommend appropriate means for obtaining compliance.
• Ability to gain cooperation of clients in completing the audit and in implementing the recommendations contained in the audit report.
• Have responsibility and enjoy the challenges of various industries.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, commerce or related field.
• Completed a professional qualification, such as CPA/ACCA/CA/ LLB/LLM/LLD/JSD.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the taxation field.
• Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.
• Good knowledge on business process.
