Manager Talent Acquisition

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Manager – Talent Acquisition to join our growing Talent Acquisition team and drive hiring across Affle's diverse businesses.

This is not a coordination-heavy recruitment role. We are looking for a strong recruiter and talent partner who can independently own complex searches, engage senior stakeholders, build market intelligence and solve difficult hiring problems.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in executive search, product/technology hiring, AdTech or other fast-paced digital businesses, with the ability to work across multiple roles, functions and geographies.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the challenge of finding the right person for the right role — especially when the obvious talent pool has already been exhausted.

End-to-End Talent Acquisition

• Independently manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from role intake and market mapping through sourcing, assessment, stakeholder management, offer closure and joining.
• Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring requirements, define search strategies and align on candidate profiles.
• Own multiple roles simultaneously, including niche, business-critical and hard-to-fill positions.
• Drive high-quality candidate assessment and ensure only relevant, well-screened profiles are presented to stakeholders.
• Manage candidate experience throughout the hiring journey and ensure clear, timely and professional communication.

Executive Search & Strategic Hiring

• Lead targeted searches for senior, niche and specialised talent.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies beyond traditional job portals and inbound applications.
• Use advanced sourcing techniques, Boolean search, talent mapping and market research to identify passive candidates.
• Build long-term talent pipelines for critical functions and recurring hiring needs.
• Conduct market mapping to understand competitor talent, organisation structures, compensation trends and talent availability.

Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a trusted recruitment partner to hiring managers and business leaders.
• Challenge hiring briefs where required and bring market insights to shape realistic search strategies.
• Provide regular updates on search progress, market challenges, candidate feedback and competitive intelligence.
• Manage stakeholder expectations while maintaining ownership of the recruitment process and candidate experience.

Recruitment Operations & Process Excellence

• Ensure strong process discipline across the recruitment lifecycle, including accurate documentation and system updates.
• Track key recruitment metrics, hiring progress and pipeline health.
• Identify bottlenecks and actively contribute to improving recruitment processes, systems and ways of working.
• Support the development and implementation of TA policies, SOPs, governance frameworks and recruitment best practices.
• Contribute to broader TA initiatives including employer branding, talent intelligence and process improvement.

What We're Looking For

• 4–8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Executive Search.
• Experience working in an executive search firm, product/technology company, AdTech, digital media or other fast-paced technology-led environment would be strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment for niche and business-critical roles.
• Strong sourcing capability with experience identifying and engaging passive talent.
• Advanced knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search and modern sourcing techniques.
• Experience with talent mapping and market intelligence would be a strong advantage.
• Strong candidate assessment and screening ability, with sound judgement on candidate fit.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to work directly with senior business leaders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising quality or follow-through.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of how hiring decisions impact the business.
• Highly proactive, resourceful and solution-oriented.

The Person We're Looking For

We are looking for a recruiter who doesn't wait for candidates to come to them.

Someone who can take a difficult role, understand the market, map the talent, figure out where the right people are — and go after them.

You should be comfortable working with ambiguity, challenging briefs when required and finding solutions when the obvious search channels aren't delivering.

Most importantly, you should have strong ownership. This is a role for someone who can be trusted with a search from day one and will treat every critical hire as their own responsibility.
