Security Services Management
- Manage outsourced security agency including deployment, rostering, and discipline
- Ensure 24/7 security coverage across hospital premises
- Monitor access control, visitor management, parking, and CCTV systems
- Handle security incidents, patient/attender issues, and emergency situations
- Conduct regular security audits and mock drills
- Coordinate with local police and emergency authorities when required
Housekeeping Services
- Oversee housekeeping agency operations across clinical and non-clinical areas
- Ensure compliance with hospital cleaning protocols and infection control norms
- Monitor daily cleaning schedules, manpower strength, and material usage
- Conduct regular audits for cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance
- Address patient complaints related to cleanliness promptly
Linen & Laundry Management
- Manage linen inventory including bed sheets, patient gowns, OT linen, curtains, etc.
- Ensure proper collection, segregation, washing, and distribution of linen
- Monitor linen losses, damages, and replacement cycles
- Coordinate with internal or outsourced laundry vendors
- Ensure infection control and traceability of clean vs soiled linen
Food & Beverage (F&B) Management
- Oversee patient diet services and cafeteria operations (if applicable)
- Ensure compliance with dietician instructions and food safety standards
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, portion control, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with vendors for timely supply and service quality
- Address patient and staff feedback on food services
Biomedical Waste Management (BMW)
- Ensure strict compliance with Biomedical Waste Management Rules
- Oversee segregation, collection, storage, and handover to authorized vendor
- Train housekeeping and nursing staff on BMW protocols
- Maintain all statutory registers, manifests, and records
- Coordinate with pollution control authorities during inspections
Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage outsourced agencies for security, housekeeping, laundry, BMW, and F&B
- Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and contract compliance
- Conduct monthly vendor performance reviews
- Ensure timely billing, validation, and cost control
- Recommend improvements, renewals, or replacements of vendors
Compliance & Audits
- Ensure readiness for NABH, NABL, internal audits, and statutory inspections
- Maintain documentation related to support services
- Close audit observations within defined timelines
- Support disaster management and emergency preparedness activities
Team Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Nursing, Infection Control, Facilities, and HR teams
- Conduct daily rounds and issue resolution
- Prepare MIS reports on manpower, incidents, audits, and costs
- Escalate critical issues proactively to management
Qualifications
Qualification: Any Graduate with MHA / MBA Hospital Administration
Experience: Minimum
5 years handling Support Services
independently in a hospital environment
