Job Description
Global Procurement Analytics Manager
The Procurement Analyst will play a critical role in supporting sourcing, vendor management, and procurement operations for a leading CDMO organization. The role involves analyzing procurement data, identifying cost optimization opportunities, ensuring supply continuity, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives for raw materials, APIs, intermediates, solvents, excipients, packaging materials, and other direct categories.
- Develop category strategies for APIs & Formulations business across all categories globally.
- Spend Analytics & Opportunity Identification: Apply sophisticated data analytics to assess procurement expenditures, recognize annual rate contracting prospects, and uncover potential cost reductions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and procurement reports to support decision-making.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and predictive models to evaluate procurement performance, supplier metrics, and market developments.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work in partnership with teams across finance, operations, and engineering to ensure sourcing strategies support business objectives.
- Contract Management Support: Contribute to contract negotiations and finalization processes, ensuring optimal terms and strict adherence to company policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement enhancements to sourcing and procurement procedures to optimize productivity and effectiveness.
- Provide analytical support for contract negotiations (pricing, payment terms, SLAs)
- Collaborate with category managers to evaluate alternative sources and mitigate single-source dependency.
- Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and cost reduction.
- Conduct supplier performance analysis (OTIF, quality, compliance, cost).
- Maintain supplier intelligence reports, risk maps, and category insights.
- Work with finance teams to validate cost savings and budgeting impact.
- MIS, MBR & other reporting decks preparation by collaborating with the procurement team
- Drive along side finance for cost savings (PPV) and annual budgeting impact.
