Role Purpose
The Manager - Strategy Execution & Planning will be a key driver in maximizing business growth and profitability. This role is responsible for translating the National Head's vision and business objectives into actionable plans, monitoring execution, and providing data-driven insights to steer strategic decisions related to customer acquisition, retention, and pricing.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Business Planning & Budgeting: Assist in the annual and quarterly business planning cycle, including detailed budgeting exercises, ensuring alignment with overall company financial goals.
- Strategic Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of DTDC's business strengths and market positioning. Utilize existing historical data to identify growth trends, performance gaps, and future opportunities.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze industry trends, the competitive landscape, and overall market potential to provide actionable market intelligence that informs sales strategies and business growth initiatives.
- Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth product knowledge across all DTDC services to effectively incorporate product-specific strategies into the overall sales plan.
Execution & Performance Monitoring
- Drive Business Performance: Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the execution of strategic sales initiatives, ensuring objectives are met to drive business growth.
- Pricing & Profitability: Play a vital role in formulating and executing strategies to drive price increases. Utilize pricing knowledge and conduct regular customer profit analysis to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
- Customer Lifecycle Analysis: Lead customer retention analysis and in-depth customer insights generation to identify key drivers of loyalty and churn, informing targeted sales and service strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in a Strategy, Business Analysis, Sales Planning, or Management Consulting role, preferably within the Logistics, Express Distribution, or related B2B industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related quantitative field. An MBA or equivalent degree is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency is mandatory
