The Role

AiDASH is looking for a high-agency Strategy & Operations Manager to work within the Biodiversity Net Gain through AI (BNGAi) business. This role is designed to reduce operational complexity over time, not manage individual projects indefinitely. You will sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, product, delivery, and customer success, helping BNGAi scale from a fast-growing product into a well-designed operating system. The role requires someone who can zoom in to solve real problems on the ground, and zoom out to design repeatable, scalable systems so the same problems don't recur.

How you'll make an impact:

Own the BNGAi operating system

  • Design and evolve the end-to-end operating model across sales handoff, delivery, ecology, GIS, product, and customer success
  • Define clear ownership, decision rights, SLAs, and escalation paths
  • Identify bottlenecks, failure modes, and structural inefficiencies and fix them permanently

Drive execution with leverage

  • Partner closely with delivery and customer-facing teams to drive customers and initiatives to closure, stepping in hands-on when required
  • Ensure day-to-day execution aligns with broader strategic priorities
  • Act as connective tissue between teams without becoming a long-term dependency

Build scalable processes (do once, do well, use often)

  • Identify repeatable workflows and design processes, playbooks, and automation around them
  • Balance efficiency with judgment automating where possible while preserving human decision-making where it matters
  • Continuously simplify and standardize how BNGAi operates as volume and complexity grow

Enable leadership with insight and structure

  • Work with leadership to define KPIs, dashboards, and operating metrics that drive real decisions
  • Support strategic initiatives such as new offerings, pricing changes, delivery model shifts, or customer segmentation
  • Translate ambiguous problems into structured plans with clear next steps

Documentation & institutional memory

  • Build and maintain operating playbooks, SOPs, decision frameworks, and execution guidelines
  • Ensure knowledge scales beyond individuals and reduces single points of failure over time

What we're looking for:

  • 46 years of experience in Strategy & Operations, Program Management, Consulting, or Startup Operations
  • Comfortable switching between:
    • Macro: operating models, prioritization, metrics, system design
    • Micro: unblocking teams, resolving delivery issues, hands-on problem solving
  • Strong first-principles thinker with a bias for action
  • Proven ability to create structure in ambiguous environments
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, delivery, and customer-facing teams
  • High ownership mindset sees problems as theirs to solve, not to escalate
  • Proficiency with tools like Excel/Sheets, Jira, dashboards, and workflow tools
  • Engineering or analytical background preferred
  • Startup experience strongly preferred
  • MBA optional clarity of thinking matters more than pedigree
We are proud to be an equal-opportunity employer. We are committed to embracing diversity and inclusion in our hiring practices, and we promote a work environment where everyone, from any race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin, can do their best work.

We are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible interview experience for all candidates. Please let us know if you require any accommodation during the interview process, and we will make every effort to meet your needs.
