Role Overview
As Manager Strategic Partnerships, you will own the end-to-end strategy, acquisition and management of key external partnerships that power HULP's service fulfilment layer.
This is a high-ownership, external-facing role that blends B2B business development, commercial negotiations and ongoing partner performance management. You will work closely with product, service delivery and operations teams to ensure partners are integrated, reliable and commercially viable.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Strategy & Acquisition
- Identify, evaluate and onboard strategic partners across categories such as travel, mobility, logistics, commerce and on-demand services
- Build relationships with platforms and aggregators (e.g., travel, cab, grocery, hyperlocal delivery partners)
- Structure win-win partnership models aligned to HULP's fulfilment and service goals
Commercials & Negotiation
- Lead commercial discussions including pricing, commissions, SLAs, credits, refunds and escalation frameworks
- Negotiate contracts to ensure cost efficiency, service reliability and flexibility for customer experience
- Work with legal and finance teams to close agreements smoothly
Partner Management & Performance
- Own day-to-day partner relationships post-onboarding
- Define and track SLAs, service quality metrics and escalation processes
- Resolve issues related to fulfilment, cancellations, refunds and exceptions in collaboration with internal teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product and tech teams on integrations, workflows and automation opportunities
- Work with service delivery and operations to ensure partners meet real-world execution needs
- Provide structured feedback from partners to improve HULP's systems and playbooks
Scaling & Optimisation
- Continuously evaluate partner performance and optimise the partner mix
- Identify opportunities for deeper integrations, exclusivity or preferential terms
- Build repeatable frameworks and documentation for future partnerships
Who You Are
- 56 years of experience in Strategic Partnerships, Business Development, Alliances or B2B Sales
- Experience working with platforms, marketplaces, aggregators or enterprise partners
- Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience in negotiations and contract structuring
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and 01 environments
- Ability to balance cost, service quality and customer experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in consumer tech, marketplaces, mobility, travel or hyperlocal commerce
- Exposure to API / product integrations (not mandatory, but a plus)
- Experience working with operations or service delivery teams
