Job Description
  • Ensure end-to-end compliance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable laws and regulations.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and advise management on legal implications and required actions.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance frameworks, policies, and internal controls.
  • Ensure timely statutory compliances, filings, and adherence to governance standards.

2. Legal Management

  • Handle all legal matters of the organization, including drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
  • Provide legal and regulatory advisory support to internal stakeholders on business decisions and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel for litigation management and other legal proceedings.
  • Oversee execution and documentation management through digital platforms such as DocuSign.
  • Identify and mitigate legal and contractual risks across business operations.

3. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)

  • Manage end-to-end Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) activities, including trademarks and related assets.
  • Conduct trademark searches, applications, registrations, renewals, and portfolio management.
  • Prepare detailed trademark search reports using Trade Mark Search tools.
  • Liaise with external legal experts on IP-related filings, disputes, and advisory matters.
  • Ensure protection and enforcement of the organization's intellectual property assets.

4. Secretarial & Corporate Governance

  • Manage company secretarial functions in compliance with corporate governance standards.
  • Draft board resolutions, maintain statutory registers, and ensure timely secretarial filings.
  • Support board and committee meetings, including agenda preparation, documentation, and compliance tracking.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of corporate records and statutory documentation.
  • Oversee banking-related documentation and transactions from a compliance perspective.

5. MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare and present MIS reports, dashboards, and compliance updates for leadership review.
  • Track and report compliance status, legal risks, and governance-related matters.
  • Provide analytical insights to support decision-making and risk management.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting mechanisms for legal and compliance activities.
