The University of Aberdeen will open its Mumbai campus in Powai in September 2026. At launch, it will offer six programmes: four-year undergraduate degrees in Computing, Data Science, Economics, and Business Management, along with one-year master's degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Business Administration.
We are seeking a proactive, relationship driven Manager/Sr Manager Career Success & Corporate Engagement to support student career services, employer partnerships, internships, and recruitment activities. This role plays a central part in connecting students with industry opportunities, enhancing employability outcomes, and cultivating strong corporate relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Career Services & Student Support
- Provide career counselling, guidance, and advisory support to students across programmes.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and training on résumé building, interview skills, job search strategies, and professional development.
- Maintain student career records, progress tracking, and employability dashboards.
Corporate Engagement & Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with recruiters, industry leaders, corporates, and sector bodies.
- Identify internship, placement, and project opportunities across industries.
- Engage employers through campus visits, recruitment drives, networking sessions, and industry events.
Internships, Placements & Recruitment
- Coordinate the full lifecycle of student internships and final placements.
- Facilitate pre-placement talks, assessments, interview coordination, and onboarding support.
- Collaborate with academic teams to align industry opportunities with programme needs.
Industry Insights & Market Intelligence
- Track job market trends, emerging roles, and skills in demand.
- Share insights with academic leadership to support curriculum relevance.
- Build employer feedback loops to enhance student preparedness and programme quality.
Events & Ecosystem Building
- Organize placement drives, corporate conclaves, leadership talks, and networking platforms.
- Coordinate alumni interactions, mentorship initiatives, and professional communities of practice.
Operations, Data & Reporting
- Maintain updated databases of employers, job postings, and placement outcomes.
- Track KPIs, student outcomes, engagement metrics, and industry participation.
- Support accreditation-related documentation and reporting needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Education, or related fields.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in career services, corporate relations, recruitment, placement coordination, or related functions.
