We are seeking an Engineering Manager (SG28) to lead an offshore team delivering full stack and Generative AI solutions. This role is focused on people leadership, technical direction, and delivery ownership, with solid collaboration across onshore engineering teams and business stakeholders.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and architectural leadership for full stack and GenAI initiatives using React, Node.js, Python, LangChain, and LangGraph
  • Lead and mentor the offshore engineering team, driving career development, technical excellence, and team engagement
  • Partner closely with onshore engineering and business teams to align priorities, translate business needs into technical outcomes, and ensure predictable delivery
  • Guide the application of engineering best practices, design patterns, and architectural standards across the team
  • Own delivery commitments, quality, and adherence to agile practices, including participation in design reviews, code reviews, and ceremonies
  • Promote effective use of modern development tools, including GitHub Copilot, to improve productivity and code quality
  • Stay current with advances in AI, ML, and software engineering, guiding thoughtful adoption within the team
  • Provide directions for machine learning models and data pipelines when applicable

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience guiding teams working with MongoDB and RESTful APIs
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams in an offshore or distributed model
  • Solid understanding of full stack architectures (JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js, Python)
  • Exposure to Generative AI systems, including LangChain, LangGraph, and agent based solutions
  • Solid grasp of system design, architectural decision making, and software design patterns
  • Proven solid communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance technical depth and leadership accountability
