Summary:

As Manager – Social Media at ZEE5, you will be at the forefront of our digital presence, driving strategic initiatives across key social platforms. Your proactive and driven approach will be crucial in navigating the dynamic landscape of digital entertainment.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and develop comprehensive social media strategies for platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

· Engage with influencers, followers, and manage community interactions to build and nurture a robust online community. Identify and collaborate with key influencers to create impactful brand partnerships and amplify our reach.

· Leverage AI-led tools and emerging technologies (GenAI, predictive analytics, automation, dynamic creative optimization) to enhance content production efficiency, audience targeting, trend forecasting, and real-time campaign optimization.

· Apply strong domain understanding of TV, Movies, and OTT ecosystems to align social strategies with content lifecycles, release windows, audience consumption patterns, talent-driven fandoms, and multi-screen marketing dynamics.

· Track and adapt to platform-level AI and algorithm changes (Meta, X, YouTube, search-driven discovery) to continuously evolve content formats, distribution strategy, and performance benchmarks.

· Analyse performance metrics to measure engagement, optimize campaigns, and ensure broader reach and impact.

· Utilize international consumer insights to craft compelling social media stories that resonate with diverse audiences.

· Conduct social listening to stay ahead of trends, capitalize on moment marketing, and keep the brand relevant and engaging.

· Conceptualize and execute innovative social campaigns across all mediums to drive brand growth and audience engagement.

· Collaborate with agencies to ensure seamless campaign execution and maximize reach.

Required Skills & Attributes:

· 6+ years of experience in social media marketing.

· Proficient in social media planning and execution, with a deep understanding of various platforms and their unique audiences.

· Experience in running Meta ads is a plus plus

· Proven experience in influencer marketing, from identifying partners to managing collaborations.

· Demonstrated ability to plan and execute 360-degree campaigns end to end.

· Experience working with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing and business goals.

· A go-getter attitude with a proactive approach, ready to thrive in a dynamic start-up environment.

· Thorough knowledge of all aspects of social media, from strategy to execution.

· Experience in marketing to international markets, understanding diverse cultural nuances and preferences.
