Job Description

Strategic Execution & Alignment

  • Translate product vision and strategy defined by the CPO into actionable project plans.
  • Ensure alignment of all projects with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and market priorities.
  • Support prioritization of product roadmap initiatives across Insurance and Lending portfolios.

Program & Project Management

  • Manage end-to-end lifecycle of multiple projects (initiation to closure).
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies across cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure adherence to delivery timelines, scope, and quality standards.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a liaison between the CPO, business teams, technology teams, and external partners.
  • Conduct regular governance meetings, steering committees, and status reviews.
  • Provide periodic updates to senior leadership on project progress, risks, and outcomes.

Domain Expertise (Insurance & Lending)

  • Drive initiatives related to:

1 Policy administration systems (Life & General Insurance)

2 Claims management and underwriting workflows

3 Loan origination systems (LOS) and loan management systems (LMS)

  • Ensure solutions comply with regulatory frameworks (e.g., IRDAI guidelines, RBI norms).

Risk & Compliance Management

  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; implement mitigation plans.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet internal audit, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Maintain documentation for audit trails and regulatory reviews.

Product & Technology Coordination

  • Work closely with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility and scalability.
  • Facilitate requirement gathering, BRD/PRD preparation, and change management.
  • Ensure Agile/Scrum or hybrid methodologies are effectively implemented.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Define and track KPIs, SLAs, and success metrics for all projects.
  • Prepare dashboards and MIS reports for the CPO and executive leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on performance insights.

Change & Transformation Management

  • Support digital transformation initiatives across Insurance and Lending platforms.
  • Drive adoption of new systems, processes, and tools within the organization.
  • Ensure smooth change management and user adoption.

Team Coordination & Leadership

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, QA, Operations, and Business Units.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on lending and insurance software development projects.
