Role Description
This is a full-time Remote / Hybrid position for a Manager/Senior Manager - Marketing and Business Development based in Asia (Key Business Hubs Singapore, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Delhi, etc ). This may demand extensive travelling to different location across geographies. The role involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and conducting market research to align business strategies with market trends. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and commercial execution. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, positioning innovation-led offerings, and converting leads into long-term partnerships especially across cosmetics, personal care, beauty, home care, and consumer product sectors.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
New Client Acquisition & Business Development Identify, target, and acquire new clients for innovation, product development, and packaging design and development services. Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline across startups, mid-size brands, and large FMCG/CPG companies. Lead outbound and inbound business development activities: prospecting, pitch meetings, proposals, and negotiations. Build strong relationships with brand owners, OEM companies, ODM Companies, R&D heads, marketing leaders, innovation teams, and founders.
Marketing & Go-to-Market Strategy
Position the company's innovation, product, and packaging design and development capabilities clearly and compellingly in the market.
Collaborate with design and innovation teams to translate capabilities into market-ready propositions.
Driving and Creating of marketing content (presentations, case studies, website content, LinkedIn posts, Social Media Content, thought leadership).
Drive brand visibility through events, industry forums, partnerships, and digital channels.
Innovation & Solution Selling
Understand client challenges across product innovation, packaging design, sustainability, UX, speed-to-market, and cost optimization.
Co-create customized solutions by aligning client needs with internal design, engineering, and innovation expertise.
Present innovation-led value propositions, not just servicesfocusing on impact, differentiation, and ROI. Support early-stage ideation workshops, innovation road map discussions, and strategic engagements.
Market Intelligence & Opportunity Mapping
Track market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging needs in cosmetics, personal care, and consumer products.
Identify whitespace opportunities for new service offerings and innovation platforms.
Feed market insights back into leadership and innovation teams to refine offerings and positioning.
Commercial & Strategic Skills
Strong consultative selling capabilityable to sell complex, high-value innovation services.
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Ability to translate technical or creative capabilities into clear business value.
