Job Scope:
To support DHL Logistics Security in implementing the Logistics Security Program and assist in investigations related to security incidents.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deploy Best-in-Class Global & Corporate Security Practices across the regional operations.
- Managed Multi-locational process improvement projects across the region.
- Conduct thorough Security Audits and Risk Assessments of offices, warehouses, buildings and transport.
- Managed Statutory and Regulatory Compliances for all service partners.
- SOPs and processes implementation.
- Manage Command Centre Operations & Incident management.
- Implementation of Digitalized Security processes, and leveraging solutions viz. OCR, video analytics etc.
- Incident management LOGICS.
- Maintain 6 Steps data at site.
- Compliance and vendor management.
- Automation BOQ and bills processing.
- Ability to relate to people from diverse segments at all levels, managing diverse multi-ethnic people.
- Built working partnerships with key customers to facilitate change and enhance the services.
- Lead and support security team at Warehouse and Transport Security.
- Look for cost optimization and bringing efficiencies. (OPEX).
Functional Knowledge:
- Security systems; Access Control, CCTV, VMS, intrusion Alarm Systems, Fire finding & fighting equipment's.
- Analytical skills: MS Word, MS Excel and outlook.
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills
- Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters.
- Practical knowledge and experience of logistics security
- Good integrity and communication skills
- Analytical thinking and systematic problem solving.
- Basic knowledge of finance and administration
- Very well aware of local situation and needs
Job Requirements And Qualifications:
Experience: 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics security or a related security environment.
Qualification: Graduate with an investigation background, preferably in forensic science.
Skills and Competencies:
- Reasonable knowledge and experience of logistics security.
- Good integrity and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and systematic problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of finance and administration, along with proficiency in MS Office.
- Awareness of local security situations and needs (preferably local staff).
- Forensic and criminology background preferred.
- Knowledge of the local language is essential.
