A full hands on Managerial role for Software Engineering Testing involving full automation, devops technologies with CI/CD, Cloud Infrastructure with Containerization and Kubernetes.
This job needs a person with Good Networking, telecom application exposure involving SQL/NoSQL databases like mySQL/MongoDB.
Person should be able to manage team of skilled Engineers testing complex technology applications with large-scale distributed systems
Impact You'll Make:
8-10 years recent experience in Software Testing and/or Software Test Automation with 4-5 years of experience of Technical Team Management.
Highly experienced in testing complex technology applications and large-scale distributed systems. Relevant Working experience with Cloud Technology and Devops practices including containerization, kubernetes
Experience in Telecom and IP communication domain
Must be proficient in a Linux/Unix environments
Experience with Continuous Deployment and configuration management tools will be a plus
Knowledge of Gherkin Language, Cucumber, Robot test framework.
Strong attention to detail and has demonstrated the ability to solve complex problems and the ability to come up and communicate quick and creative solutions.
Ability to work in collaborative teams located across the globe and cross-functional technologies.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
Experience working in an Agile environment/familiarity with Agile methodology and tools, ability to seamlessly integrate automation solutions with continuous integration build.
Experienced with current database technologies RDBMS and NoSQL DBs like MySQL, MongoDB etc.
Experience testing software at API and web service and DB level.
Experience testing different web service methodologies REST, JSON payloads.
Experience with Shell/Python scripting in Linux/Unix Environment.
Must have backend testing experience with App servers.
Experience in development using Java, JUnit.
Experience in automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber Understanding of the SDLC and comprehensive understanding of the entire Quality Assurance process, including defect submission standards, test case and test plan documentation
Strong technical and analytical skills related to software Quality Assurance
Excellent verbal communication skills
Exposed to Test Driven Development (TDD)
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
