We are looking for an individual with a proven record in sales to join our growing team.
Job Description:
Sales:
- Query management for fixed departures as well as customised itineraries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), corporate clients, and travel agents
- Engage with clients to understand their travel needs and present tailored solutions
- Design bespoke travel itineraries based on client preferences, ensuring attention to detail and customisation based on client needs.
- Recommend unique destinations, experiences, and luxury accommodations to exceed client expectations.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Work with the co-founders in creating strong sales strategies for new and existing destinations that we work on
- Work with the communications team to create strong sales collaterals for new and existing destinations
Operations:
- End to end client servicing during trip
- Oversee travel documentation including itineraries, consent forms, insurance, and visa applications (if applicable)
- Coordinate internally, and externally withsuppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless travel arrangements
- Manage end-to-end booking processes while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing prompt assistance for any travel-related inquiries or issues during their trip.
- Resolve on-ground issues and handle escalations during trips, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional service at every touchpoint to maintain brand loyalty.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), sales pipeline updates, and client feedback analysis.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- 5 years + experience in the luxury travel sector/hospitality industry or a similar setup
- Proven track record of meeting your sales targets
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Ability to work on softwares such as Canva, Ms Office, Wordpress etc.
- Ability to travel - both internationally and domestically
- Committed to grow personally and professionally and take on new challenges and responsibilities
- Be keen to work in the hustle of a start-up where you are often working beyond your scope assisting the co-founders
- Willingness to travel as needed and work flexible hours to accommodate client demands
Good to have:
- Destination Knowledge - Africa, Central Asia, Europe, South America
- Familiarity with travel CRM systems and, booking platforms
Remuneration:
This will be dependent on the value you bring to the table and your work experience however it can be in the range of 5.5-6.5 Lacs per annum and opportunity to earn a performance linked bonus annually
