Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manager Sales/Business Development Manager based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The individual will be responsible for developing and managing sales efforts, identifying new business opportunities, and building relationships with clients. Core responsibilities include generating leads, maintaining a robust sales pipeline, achieving sales targets, and creating proposals tailored to client needs. The role also entails market research, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong sales management and business development skills, including lead generation, client acquisition, and account management
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, partners, and internal teams
- Proficiency in market research and strategy development
- Knowledge of logistics, supply chain solutions, and services such as freight forwarding, customs clearance, and warehousing
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and work in a results-driven environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in the logistics, freight, or shipping industry is a plus
