Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Business Development & Sales Manager who can own the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure while also managing and growing relationships with existing clients.
This role requires strong CRM discipline, proactive meeting setup, client visits, participation in events/exhibitions, and the ability to win new accounts through consultative selling.
Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new brand and seller accounts
- Set up meetings (virtual & in-person) with founders, brand heads, and marketing leaders
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client goals and pain points
- Present SellerCircle's services and solutions confidently
- Own proposal creation, negotiations, and closures
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM
CRM & Sales Ownership
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM (leads, meetings, follow-ups, deal stages)
- Track conversions, follow-ups, and deal movement rigorously
- Ensure zero lead leakage and timely follow-ups
- Share weekly sales updates, pipeline status, and forecasts
Client Relationship Management
- Act as a relationship owner for assigned existing clients
- Ensure strong communication, trust, and long-term engagement
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within current accounts
- Coordinate with internal teams (Ads, Creative, Operations) for smooth handovers and client satisfaction
Field & Market Presence
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, seller meets, and networking sessions
- Represent SellerCircle professionally in external forums
- Conduct client visits when required
- Build brand visibility and relationships within the e-commerce ecosystem
What We're Looking For
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience in Sales / Business Development (agency, SaaS, e-commerce, or consulting preferred)
- Excellent CRM usage discipline (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to own targets end-to-end without constant supervision
- Comfortable with both hunting (new business) and farming (existing accounts)
Good to Have
- Experience in e-commerce, Amazon ecosystem, digital marketing, or marketplaces
- Exposure to B2B consultative sales
- Experience working with founders, brand owners, or senior stakeholders
