Dosage Form - Nasal/ Solid Oral / Liquid New Product & Developmental Projects

Job Responsibilities / Deliverables

Knowledge of different Packaging Materials, Process, Machinability applicable for pharmaceutical regulated & non-regulated market (US, EU, RoW & Adv RoW market).

Right Skill to develop and design packaging material for Oral Solid, Liquid, Nasal, ophthalmic and injectable products.

Good Regulatory knowledge & understanding (packaging) for US, EU, Canada, Advance RoW & Row market.

Knowledge in developing & implementation of Drug Device is mandatory. Knowledge in DHF, Threshold study.

Knowledge in Packing line operations/process (production line) as per regulated market requirement.

Knowledge of Artwork handling. Co-ordination with the Artwork team for Artwork preparation. Check artworks technically to avoid any production line stoppage.

Documentation skills: Good understanding about MPC, BOM, BPR, Intended BPR & other documents required for plant packing operations.

Knowledge in Packaging material Analysis & Characterization of all packaging materials used for pharmaceutical companies.

Execution Skills

Managerial capability: Capable to handle 3-4 member's team. Get the work done by own team & CFT. Work with ownership & responsibility. Responsible for delivery OTIF. Clarity in work. Guide & Mentor team members. Team development skill. Effective communication with leadership team. Ability to handle crisis situation.

Fast in execution of packaging activities for Exhibit batch, New Launches at plant.

Completion & execution of all packaging related activities in advance.

Quick response to deficiency, query & fast implementation of regulatory changes

Change part layout development, conducting various trials at plant related to new packaging configuration implementation & changes in existing configuration.

Preparation of Specs/STP/Protocol. Preparation of Comparative Analysis

Coordination with Suppliers to Develop new packaging material/Machines.

Understanding & Knowledge to execute the Cost improvement initiatives.

Organizing Different packaging meetings and making the MoM.

Work very closely with a cross-functional team e.g. Project Management, Formulation Development, Plant Packing team, Planning, Regulatory, Analytical development, QA, QC, Procurement, SCM, CMO to expedite all packaging-related activities, to meet timelines.

Ability for handling both new products and existing commercial products

Handling AVD projects for packaging material

Technology transfer of all new product to plant packaging team & plant team

Behavior Skill

Mingling capability & collaborative approach to fasten any packaging related activities for both R&D and Commercial front.

Good communication skills.

Qualifications & Pre-Requisites

Preferably have the following skill but not limit as mentioned below.

Bachelor / Diploma in Packaging technology.

The candidate should have experience in packaging development & documentation activities for pharma regulated & non-regulated market

The candidate should have knowledge of packaging development of different pharmaceutical dosage forms like OSD, Liquids, Nasal, Injectable, Ophthalmic, etc. and its implementation

Candidate should have skill to achieve deliverable tasks with minimum support.

Additional Notes

If required, the candidate should be ready to travel to all plant locations as a work priority as per company policy.

Responsible to ensure compliance with GMP, Health, Safety and Environment requirement.
