Job Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Record to Report. The role involves overseeing the administration and configuration of financial processes while aiming to streamline operations and integrate systems for enhanced efficiency. As a key player in financial transformation initiatives, the successful candidate will identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions that drive continuous improvement. This position will significantly contribute to optimizing value delivery within the organization, ensuring compliance and strong internal controls.

Accountabilities

  • Own the administration, governance, and configuration of the BlackLine platform supporting Record-to-Report processes.
  • Design, implement, and optimize automated reconciliation, certification, and close processes.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and operational risk through automation and standardization.
  • Ensure BlackLine configurations support strong internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Accounting, Finance Transformation, and Technology teams to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements across the Record-to-Report landscape.
  • Communicate system changes, benefits, and impacts clearly to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Record-to-Report, financial systems, or finance transformation roles.
  • Hands-on experience administering BlackLine.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and financial integrations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process design skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
