About Our Client
Our client is a large Specialty films manufacturer. Our client has multiple patents across the world and exports its products to over 100 countries across the globe.
Job Description
- Responsible for new product development and product reengineering initiatives
- Responsible for taking BOPP and PE MB customer trials
- Make the plan and concept assessment for new business initiatives
- Lead a team of 2 to 4 people
- Build awareness of the market, competition, and new developments
- Contribute to technology strategy development to build a strong pipeline of sustainable solutions that will drive growth
The Successful Applicant
- PhD in Polymer Chemistry/ Polymer Physics or M. Sc. /M. Tech in polymer chemistry (from a Premier Institute) preferred. M Tech or PhD in Material Science will also be okay.
- 10+ years of experience in making Master Batch/compounds for films and packaging converters
- Knowledge of screw elements of extruder
- Very good knowledge and exposure on polyolefins
- Tenacity, self-motivation, and a proven ability to achieve professional goals
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
