Manager Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: Manager Quantity Surveyor / Billing

Location: Jhajjar, Haryana

Reporting to: Team Leader of the project / Project Director

Job Summary:

The Manager Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overall commercial, cost, and contractual management of building projects. The role requires strong experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, and industrial building projects, with the ability to lead quantity surveying functions from pre-contract to post-contract stages.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage all quantity surveying and cost management activities for building projects.

2. Prepare, review, and control project budgets, cost plans, BOQs, and estimates.

3. Monitor project costs, cash flow forecasts, and financial reporting.

4. Manage tendering processes, including preparation of tender documents, evaluation, and recommendations.

5. Handle contract administration, including variations, claims, and final accounts.

6. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure cost control and compliance.

7. Evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiate contracts, and manage subcontractor payments.

8. Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and company commercial procedures.

9. Identify cost risks and opportunities and provide mitigation strategies.

10. Prepare regular cost reports and present updates to senior management.

11. Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors and commercial staff.

3. Residential buildings

4. Warehouses and industrial buildings

5. Large-scale building construction projects

Qualifications:

1. Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

2. Minimum 8+ years of relevant after Diploma or Degree.

3. Strong knowledge of building construction methods, contracts, and cost control.
