Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Manager, Quality Assurance & Test Engineering to lead our QA function within the India Delivery organization. This is a strategic leadership role where you will build, scale, and optimize quality assurance practices across Salesforce implementations, product development, and digital labor initiatives. You will partner closely with US-based Architecture and Delivery leadership in a twinning model that ensures seamless collaboration across time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 15+ QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement
- Define and execute the QA strategy aligned with Asymbl's delivery objectives, product roadmap, and digital labor initiatives
- Establish quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks that demonstrate value to stakeholders and clients
- Partner with the US Architecture Director in a twinning model to ensure consistent quality standards across global delivery
- Collaborate with Delivery, Product, and Engineering leadership to integrate quality practices throughout the development lifecycle
Testing Excellence
- Oversee comprehensive test planning and execution for Salesforce configurations, customizations, integrations, and managed packages
- Drive adoption of test automation frameworks appropriate for Salesforce ecosystem (Provar, Selenium, Copado, etc.)
- Establish best practices for functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing
- Implement robust defect management processes with clear escalation paths and resolution tracking
- Ensure quality gates are embedded in CI/CD pipelines and release management processes
Salesforce & Digital Labor Focus
- Lead QA efforts for Asymbl's Salesforce-based products including Recruiter Suite, Agentforce components, and consulting deliverables
- Develop testing strategies for AI-powered features and digital labor integrations, ensuring reliability and scalability
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, seasonal releases, and emerging testing methodologies
- Support data migration validation, sandbox management, and environment testing strategies
Team Development & Operations
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top QA talent while building a diverse and high-performing team
- Establish career development paths, training programs, and certification roadmaps for QA engineers
- Manage resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects and client engagements
- Drive operational efficiency through process optimization and appropriate tooling investments
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in software quality assurance, with 5+ years in a leadership role managing QA teams
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce platform testing, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom applications
- Demonstrated success building and scaling QA teams in consulting or professional services environments
- Deep expertise in test automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and modern QA practices
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, Apex development, APIs, and integration patterns
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in distributed, cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to technical and business stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, or Application Architect
- ISTQB Advanced Level certification or equivalent
- Experience with Salesforce testing tools: Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or similar
- Familiarity with Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or industry-specific Salesforce products
- Experience in staffing, recruiting, or professional services industry
- Background in testing AI/ML features or automation-driven workflows
- Experience operating in US-India delivery models with overlapping work hours
