MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Individual contributor that works under limited supervision.

Applies subject matter knowledge.

Requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.

Responsible for maximising the effectiveness of the organisation's supply chain.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

u2022 Collect and analyse data systems, procedural activities and information flows and assess the efficiency and costs of logistics processes.

u2022 Research operational costs, industry and regulatory issues and maintain a current and comprehensive database on which to draw for solutions development.

u2022 Use statistical modeling skills to develop, and cost justify logistics solutions to meet agreed customer needs.

u2022 Manage inventories and tactical planning, taking into account customer's future needs.

u2022 Manage /coordinate inter-company shipments and troubleshooting.
