Job Description

  • Develop and maintain project financial models, including cost estimates, cash flow projections, IRR/NPV analysis, and sensitivity scenarios. - Track project progress against approved timelines, milestones, and budgets in coordination with project, engineering, and manufacturing teams
  • Monitor actual vs budget vs forecast for project capex and related opex.
  • Analyze cost overruns, schedule slippages, and scope changes, and quantify their financial impact.
  • Ensure strong cost control and budget management, including tracking commitments, accruals, and vendor payments.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, and legal risks associated with projects.
  • Prepare periodic project MIS, dashboards, and exception reports for senior management and leadership reviews.
  • Support preparation of capex proposals, investment notes, and management presentations.
  • Partner with Procurement, Projects, Engineering, and Operations teams to validate estimates and change orders.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, approval matrices, and governance frameworks.
  • Support project closure, capitalization, and post-project financial reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence outcomes to ensure project objectives are met.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Manager - Project Finance should have:

  • Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing / project-intensive industries is essential.
  • Prior exposure to Head Office / Corporate Finance roles is mandatory.
  • Strong exposure to capex-heavy projects and cross-functional coordination.
