Job Description

Sourcing and Supplier Management:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms of service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Import Compliance:

  • Ensure all imported goods comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including customs documentation and tariffs.
  • Stay updated on changes in trade regulations and customs laws.
  • Procurement Strategy:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to manage the flow of imported goods.
  • Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure proper storage and handling of products.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with finance, logistics, and operations teams to ensure seamless procurement and delivery processes.
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders on procurement status and potential issues.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and market trends.
  • Utilize data analytics to drive decisions and improve procurement processes.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Years of experience in import procurement or supply chain management (IN- DG as well in NON-DG)
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
