Job Summary
The People Success Manager (India) is a people leader and employee relations expert responsible for delivering a consistent, fair, and people first colleague experience across TriNet India. This role integrates TriNet's people agenda and provides direct, hands-on support to leaders, people managers, and colleagues, ensuring alignment with TriNet's systems, processes, policies, and core values.
Reporting locally to the Executive Director, Head of People India, the role functionally reports into the Global People Success organization, ensuring strong alignment with global People Success standards, frameworks, and practices. The position serves as a trusted partner to India functional leadership and collaborates closely with People Business Partners in both India and the US. The Manager builds strong relationships with business leaders, understands evolving organizational and talent needs, and works with leadership to translate insights into actionable people, culture, and management strategies.
Operating within TriNet's centralized management support model, this roles serves as a key People Success leader at the site level, the role contributes to site‑wide initiatives, special projects, and continuous improvement efforts that enhance the overall employee experience and workplace culture. This position includes high‑touch coaching and guidance for People Business Partners (US & India) and managers (both India & US) overseeing teams in India.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in people strategies, employee relations, and manager coaching, with a demonstrated ability to foster positive experiences, promote psychological safety, and encourage effective communication and collaboration. The role provides practical thought leadership on people policies and practices, supports HR compliance and strategic initiatives, conducts fair and objective investigations, advises managers through corrective and performance management actions, and ensures TriNet's values are consistently upheld across all people processes within a multinational context.
Essential Duties/Responsibilites
- People Leadership & Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop People Success Analysts and Senior Analysts, ensuring high quality delivery, consistent standards, effective workload management, and a strong people first, psychologically safe team culture.
- Employee Relations & Case Management: Partners with people managers to advise and support employee relations matters across India; serves as an escalation point for high‑risk or sensitive issues; and ensures investigations, corrective actions, PIPs, and separations are executed fairly, consistently, well‑documented, and aligned with TriNet policies, values, and India employment practices.
- Manager Enablement & Advisory: . Enables people managers to lead effectively across the colleague lifecycle by providing practical tools, decision support, and guidance that translate People Success strategy and policies into day‑to‑day people practices, improving consistency, speed of resolution, and risk mitigation.
- Policy, Compliance & Process Excellence: Ensure consistent application of TriNet policies and processes by reviewing case documentation and trackers for accuracy, quality, and compliance, while identifying systemic risks, recurring issues, and process gaps and partnering with senior People leaders to drive improvements and mitigate compliance exposure.
- Data, Insights & Continuous Improvement: Analyze employee relations metrics, trends, and feedback to surface insights, inform leadership decisions, and recommend actions to strengthen colleague experience, engagement, and retention.
- Site & Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Facilities, Workplace Experience, Talent, Communications, and Global People teams on site‑level initiatives, engagement programs, and culture‑building efforts aligned with TriNet's values and global standards.
- Lead Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives for the India GCC, partnering with the global CSR organization and Legal teams to ensure appropriate alignment, governance, and necessary vetting of all CSR programs and activities.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Human Resources or related field required
- Master's Degree MBA with a specialization in Human Resources preferred
Experience
- Typically 8–10+ years Human Resources, HRBP, Employee Relations or HR Operations Required
- 2+ years People management experience Preferred
Licenses/Certifications
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred
