Job Purpose/Objective The role will collaborate closely with the Head–HR for the execution of Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, HR Operations, employee life cycle management, statutory compliance, talent development, audit readiness and Employee Experience. The role will work closely with the HOD to build a high-performance, inclusive, and engaged workforce aligned with organizational growth.

Key responsibilities 1. Statutory Compliance & Regulatory Governance

  • Ensure end-to-end compliance under: 1. BOCW Act 2. Shops & Establishments Act 3. CLRA and other applicable labour laws
  • Manage statutory registrations, renewals, licenses, returns, and documentation.
  • Compliance with respect to periodical returns for PF, ESI, Bonus, Payment of wages and Minimum wages Act.
  • Coordinate with respective SPOC for maintaining statutory registers and ensure timely submissions.
  • Handle labour inspections and statutory audits.
  • Conduct contractor/vendor compliance audits and drive corrective actions.
  • Ensure 100% statutory compliance for on-roll and contract workforce.
  • Maintain harmonious industrial relations and manage local stakeholders. 2. Manpower Planning & Resourcing:
  • Manpower Budgeting and provide replacements to departments during attrition and ensure department/organization productivity is not affected.
  • Working in close collaboration with Talent Acquisition Team to ensure timely closure of the vacant position.
  • Partner with business to identify the need of the vacant role and liaise with TA team in sourcing.
  • Plan and strategize for Diversity hiring
  • Ensure that the Recruitment SOP is being followed.
  • Complete the documentation and onboarding of candidate
  • Preparing HR reports and MIS reports for HOD, BU Head and Regional Office. 3. Payroll processing:
  • To adhere to payroll processing timeline.
  • To validate the Employee masters as and when the changes effected.
  • To be part of maker / checker in payroll process at BU / SSC.
  • Monitor the reimbursement, entitlements, and other monetary benefits of staff.
  • Coordination with SSC HR / SSC Payroll and Zing HR team for smooth process of payroll. 4. Performance Management:
  • Timeline adherence to Goal/KPI setting process & to Mid-Term review and the year-end review.
  • Ensure completion of PIP for identified employees
  • Assist departments and HODs in conducting performance reviews.
  • Develop linkages in appraisal for identifying training and development needs, career planning, potential reviews and assessment. 5. Rewards and Recognition:
  • Ensuring Rewards and Recognition programs and processes are implemented as per the timeline.
  • Taking initiative for engagement of employees via non-monetary appreciation models.
  • Focus on Employee Wellness program and take initiative around the same. 6. Vendor Management & Compliance
  • Manage and update Simpliance portals for compliance governance.
  • Train vendors on Simpliance and ensure adherence to digital compliance processes.
  • Oversee HR-related vendor management.
  • Ensure vendors meet statutory and contractual obligations. 7. Process Control & Internal Audits:
  • Assistance to be provided with respect to implementation of Company policies, procedures, SOP's from time to time.
  • Ensure the SOPs and Procedure manual for the department is in place.
  • Participate in the Internal and External Audits and ensure that there are zero non-compliance.
  • Closely monitor outsourced activities and SLA 8. Learning, Capability Building & Skill Development
  • Prepare plans for training and development in co-ordination with our COE - L&D team for people based on needs analysis and career opportunities within organization
  • Organizing / executing training workshops, for employees
  • Deploy multi-skilling initiatives for warehouse, logistics, engineering, and admin teams.
  • Partner with technical institutes and skill development bodies.
  • Drive structured training and capability enhancement programs. 9. MIS:
  • Preparing HR reports and MIS reports for HOD / BU Head / Regional Office.
  • Assistance in HR reports preparations and when required at BU as well as RO level. 10. Employee Engagement:
  • Coordination on Employee engagement surveys (Great Places to work etc) and implementation of action plans.
  • Developing and delivering the organization's internal communication strategy, planning and calendar of activity, supporting us to increase levels of employee engagement.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinating with respective stakeholders in organizing Townhalls 11. Budgeting, Audit & Administration
  • Prepare and manage: 1. HR Budget 2. Admin & Facility Budget
  • Support audit readiness (HR, Finance, MIS, Statutory).
  • Monitor HR / administrative expenses and ensure cost optimization. 12. Welfare & Sustainability:
  • Employee grievance redressal.
  • Find and evaluate the projects for sustainability which are in line with Schedule VII and vision of the organization.
  • Follow up with the implementing agencies for reviewing their performance.
  • Ensure timely preparation of reports, remittance of funds to the implementing agencies, maintaining monthly tracker for progress and expense, upload projects and details in sustainability system.
  • Co-ordination & execution of CSR Projects & activities as per Schedule VII.
  • Conceptualize and organize volunteering activities.
  • Lead the CSR activities for the BU and ensure tracker and follow up for on-going projects. 13. Health & Safety:
  • Ensure that the Company Security, Health, Safety & Environment policy, and procedures are observed in all HR related activities/functions 14. Facility, Logistics & Infrastructure Management
  • Coordinate facility maintenance and office administration.
  • Oversee housekeeping operations and manpower attendance.
  • Maintain inventory records and office supplies.
  • Manage transport administration: 1. Vehicle logs 2. Transport schedules 3. Maintenance coordination

  • Educational Qualification (min)
  • MSW – HR or MBA (HR) from a reputed institution.
  • Strong academic foundation with exposure to labour laws, industrial relations, and HR systems.
  • Preferred Certifications if any -

Experience Required

Minimum of 14 years experience into HR. Preferred Expertise :

  • Setting up HR operations in Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
  • Min no of years of Industry specific
