Role Overview

We are seeking a Manager/Senior Manager – Partnerships & Alliances to drive B2B business growth and strategic partnerships across the BFSI ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 6–8 years of experience in sales, partnerships or business development roles specifically serving brokers, wealth platforms, financial distributors or banks.

Strong industry connections —especially with brokers, banks and wealth intermediaries in India—are essential to succeed in this role.

This role reports directly to the VP – Sales.

Key Responsibilities1. Client & Market Development

• Build and manage a strong funnel of BFSI relationships, focusing on brokers, banks, wealth firms, RIAs, fintechs, and digital platforms.

• Leverage existing industry networks to open doors, initiate high-quality conversations, and accelerate partnership cycles.
• 
  
• Identify emerging opportunities, new customer segments, and whitespace in the BFSI landscape.
• 
  
• Utilize analytics, insights, and market research to sharpen pitches and solution positioning.
• 
  
• Stay updated on regulatory changes (RBI, SEBI, IFSCA) and competitive developments affecting global investing, wealth-tech, and embedded finance.

2. Sales, Partnerships & Revenue Ownership

• Own quarterly and annual revenue targets in alignment with the Annual Sales Plan.
• 
  
• Structure partnership models, pricing, and commercial constructs tailored to BFSI client needs.
• 
  
• Drive the sales lifecycle—lead generation, demos, proposal building and help in negotiation and closure.
• 
  
• Strengthen and expand every closed account (farming) to increase business depth and wallet share.
• 
  
• Work with post-sales, onboarding, and customer success teams to ensure smooth partner implementation.
• 
  
• Coordinate with Finance for contract compliance, invoicing, and timely revenue realization.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Technology, and Compliance teams to align messaging, GTM execution, and solution enhancements.
• 
  
• Channel client insights and feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.
• 
  
• Preferably be aware of regulatory guidelines.
• 
  
• Support marketing with content inputs, webinars, case studies, and BFSI-focused outreach campaigns.

4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Prepare structured reports on pipeline progress, revenue forecasts, new opportunities, and competitive intelligence.

• Track customer satisfaction, engagement metrics, and feedback loops.
• 
  
• Identify risks early and work cross-functionally to resolve issues proactively.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in B2B Sales / Partnerships / Alliances within the BFSI domain.
• 
  
• Strong connections with BFSI and other Fintech firms — essential for role success.
• 
  
• Demonstrated success in enterprise sales or strategic partnerships with BFSI and Fintech companies.
• 
  
• Familiarity with wealth-tech, brokerage systems, trading platforms, LRS, or fintech infrastructure is preferred.
• 
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• 
  
• Ability to manage senior level conversations confidently.
• 
  
• Strong ownership mindset; thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
