KPMG Delivery Network (KDN) is seeking a Technical Manager, AI Solution Architect to lead rapid AI prototyping and delivery of cutting-edge solutions. The role collaborates closely with business and client stakeholders to deliver secure, cloud-native AI solutions, accelerates delivery through modern AI developer tools, and upholds KPMG's values of integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

1. Lead technical teams in rapid AI prototyping for business problems that require cutting edge AI solutions (GenAI, LLMs, AI agents, etc.); define and own the end-to-end technical vision and architecture for the team's AI prototypes across various ecosystem vendors and platforms
2. Champion quality by establishing best practices including advanced design patterns, mandating rigorous code and solution evaluation, and setting the SDLC standards to lay a foundation of re-usable, expandable, and scalable code
3. Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of software and AI engineers, guiding them in solving the most challenging technical problems and fostering their professional growth within the organization
4. Collaborate with and facilitate productive sessions across business and client stakeholders, developers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement scalable, secure, and reliable AI solutions using modern frameworks and cloud-native technologies
5. Lead a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with both virtual and face-to-face interactions utilizing structured approaches to solving problems, managing risks, documenting assumptions, and communicating results
6. Champion use of AI accelerators to speed prototype build, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Lovable
7. Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications

Educational qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree from an accredited college or university in science or engineering field

Alternatively, Bachelor's degree in any field with demonstrated technical aptitude and relevant experience in AI solution development

Work experience

Minimum 12 years of experience in data, machine learning, and AI solution development

Ability to lead, manage, and mentor technical teams (on/offshore), with at least three years experience

Mandatory technical & functional skills

Strong knowledge of modern AI technologies and methodologies, with experience leading teams in designing and implementing AI experiments and solutions (e.g. Large Language Models (LLMs) from providers like Azure OpenAI and Google Cloud, modern AI frameworks (e.g. LangChain/LangGraph, Semantic Kernel), and advanced RAG pipelines)

Preferred technical & functional skills

Solid experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS) strongly preferred
