Job Description
Manager – NPD, Application & Product Development
Fruit Formulations Private Limited (FruitFM)
Location: Jejuri, Pune | Full-time, on-site
Reporting to: CEO
Help turn customer briefs into food products that perform well in applications and can be manufactured consistently.
Responsibilities
- Lead formulation and application development across fruit preparations, dairy, beverages and food ingredients.
- Manage samples, plant trials, stability studies and commercialisation with Operations and Quality.
- Translate customer requirements into clear product specifications and trial plans.
- Maintain accurate formulation and development records.
- Assess product costing, manufacturing feasibility and scale-up requirements.
- Support customer applications and technical discussions, with visits as required.
What we're looking for
- A qualification in Food Technology, Food Science or a relevant field.
- 5–10 years of hands-on NPD or application development experience.
- Practical experience in formulation, plant trials, scale-up and customer applications.
- Clear communication, sound technical judgement and strong coordination skills.
