Job Description – Head of AI Application & Product Development

At Infotech.Works, we move fast—from idea to real product in weeks, not months, with AI capabilities. We are looking for a technology leader who can sell the solution, architect the solution, build the solution, and successfully deliver the solution.

Experience

12+ years of total professional experience – Mandatory

The candidate must have substantial hands-on experience across AI, application/product development, presales, and project management & delivery. Experience in only one or two of these areas should not be considered sufficient.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AI Application & Product Development Head who can lead the end-to-end development of AI-powered applications and products while also taking ownership of technical presales, solutioning, project management, delivery, and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with business understanding and client-facing capabilities. The person should be able to understand a client's business problem, convert it into an AI/application solution, participate in presales and proposals, define the technical approach, lead development teams, manage delivery, and ensure successful production deployment.

This is a hands-on leadership role, not purely a managerial position.

What We Expect

Important: The following experience should preferably be overlapping. We are looking for one senior technology leader who has progressively developed capabilities across all these areas.

Technical Leadership: 5+ years

Leading developers, architects, AI engineers, QA, DevOps and cross-functional engineering teams

AI / GenAI: 5+ years preferred

AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, NLP, computer vision, AI APIs/models, AI-powered applications

Application / Product Development: 5+ years

End-to-end web/mobile/enterprise application or product development, architecture, APIs, databases, cloud and engineering practices

Presales / Solutioning: 3+ years

Client discussions, requirement discovery, solution architecture, proposals, estimates, POCs, demos, technical presentations and RFP/RFQ responses

Project Management & Delivery: 3+ years

Managing software/AI projects, teams, timelines, budgets, risks, quality, client communication and production delivery

Key Success Criteria

The person joining this role should eventually be capable of independently handling this complete cycle:

Client Requirement → Discovery → AI Opportunity Identification → Solution Architecture → POC → Proposal → Estimation → Team Formation → Development → Project Management → Deployment → Support → Upselling

This is the core requirement of the position.
