Job Summary:
Responsible for driving marketing and sales of APIs and intermediates within the Indian pharmaceutical market, focusing on business development, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
We are hiring for an associate company operating in the pharmaceutical sector (APIs & intermediates).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies for APIs and intermediates in the Indian market
- Identify and onboard new pharma clients across India
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing domestic customers
- Handle key accounts and negotiate pricing and commercial terms
- Conduct market analysis, competitor tracking, and demand forecasting
- Coordinate with Production, QA, and Regulatory teams for timely order execution
- Ensure compliance with Indian regulatory requirements
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth
Key Requirements:
- B.Pharm preferred
- 10+ years of experience in API/intermediates sales within the Indian market
- Strong understanding of domestic pharma companies and supply chain
- Proven experience in business development and client management
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Willingness to travel across India
Preferred Skills:
- Strong network with Indian pharmaceutical companies
- Knowledge of pricing trends and market dynamics in India
