The Role :
We are hiring a senior professional to be part of TMG's Business Finance & Compliance team, working alongside
the CFO Partner to deliver high-quality finance and compliance services to our clients. The focus is on Financial
Planning & Analysis (FP&A), MIS, compliance oversight, and team delivery.
The incumbent will be a core delivery lead – owning day-to-day client relationships, driving the team's output,
and partnering with the CFO Partner on critical decisions, strategic advisory, and sensitive client conversations.
A working knowledge of accounting and compliance is essential, the person in this role will supervise those
deliverables while spending most of their time on planning, budgeting, MIS, variance analysis, and client
management.
Key Responsibilities :
• Own day-to-day client relationships independently – manage regular interactions, reviews, and delivery
for assigned clients; loop in the CFO Partner on critical decisions, strategic discussions, and escalations
• Lead FP&A across a portfolio of clients: budgeting, forecasting, MIS, variance analysis, cash flow, and
financial modelling
• Oversee client accounting and compliance deliverables; ensure audit readiness and statutory adherence
• Manage and develop a team from trainees to consultants – allocation, review, coaching, and delivery
quality
• Partner with the CFO Partner and TMG leadership on proposals, scoping, and practice development for
new engagements
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall operations of the Bangalore office.
What We're Looking For :
• CA / CPA / CMA / MBA (Finance) – qualified or semi-qualified (e.g., CA Inter / CMA Inter) with strong,
relevant hands-on experience
• Strong FP&A skills – budgeting, forecasting, MIS, modelling, and commercial decision support
• Working knowledge of Ind AS / GAAP and Indian tax and regulatory frameworks
• Proven experience managing client relationships at founder / CXO level
• Demonstrated people leadership – hiring, mentoring, and reviewing a team across experience levels
• Prior experience in a professional services / consulting firm, or as an in-house finance leader at a growing
company, preferred
• High proficiency in Excel, AI; familiarity with cloud accounting tools (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally, etc.) is a plus
