Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage the university-wide mentoring framework and processes.
  • Create mentoring SOPs, annual plans, schedules, templates, and communication guidelines.
  • Oversee mentor-mentee allocation and onboarding of new mentors.
  • Ensure departmental mentoring aligns with university goals and wellbeing standards.
  • Act as liaison between departments, counselling, CSW, and hostel teams.
  • Conduct review meetings and cross-department collaboration sessions.
  • Plan and deliver mentor training, workshops, and development programs.
  • Develop handbooks, guidelines, and digital mentoring resources.
  • Build mentor capability in communication, counselling basics, and wellbeing sensitivity.
  • Integrate mentoring with student support, performance monitoring, and wellbeing needs.
  • Maintain dashboards/MIS for weekly, monthly, and semester reviews.
  • Ensure submission of reports, meeting logs, concerns, and outcomes.
  • Prepare periodic reports for leadership and accreditation needs.
  • Conduct evaluations, audits, surveys, and quality checks for mentoring.
  • Identify gaps and introduce improvements and digital tools.
  • Support mentor recognition and reward initiatives.
  • Lead mentoring campaigns, inductions, wellbeing activities, and community events.
  • Draft official mentoring communications, notices, and circulars.

KPIs

  • Completion of all scheduled mentoring meetings.
  • Compliance rate for mentor/DMC reporting.
  • Improvement in student attendance, academics, and wellbeing indicators.
  • Reduction in unresolved escalation and crisis cases.
  • Training and orientation coverage for mentors and DMCs.
  • Satisfaction levels of mentors and mentees.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of documentation and MIS.
