Job Title : Manager - Maintenance
Reporting to : Head of Engineering & Projects
Entity : Evonik Catalysts India Pvt. Ltd.
Work Location : Dombivli
Purpose of the Position :
To ensure the smooth operation & plant Maintenance of all installed equipment's, to run the business /operation smoothly.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for Mechanical maintenance operation of plant.
- Ensure schedules for repair and maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment for continuous production operations.
- Ensure preventive maintenance program in conjunction with maintenance staff.
- Coordinates with plant engineers and plant in-charge for planning regular maintenance activity.
- Identify need base training to develop team's soft & on job skills. Motivate team to participate in cost savings initiatives.
- To ensure operating machines and equipment's for conformance with operational standards.
- Closely monitor engineering performance to run the plant machinery /equipment's with optimum resources.
- Review on provided budget and timeline for completion of planned / unplanned activity so that it should not go beyond given limit.
- Implement the RBM & prepare road map for excellence in Plant Engineering.
- Set concrete plan to have all equipment's reliability to operate the equipment at best efficiency.
- To ensure minimum inventory for emergency maintenance stock for spares.
- To calculate & monitor the Maintenance cost /kg of catalyst to reduce the overall product mfg cost.
- Work order request preparation and approval from concern authority.
- Set the KPI & KRA of Plant engineering team.
- Implement the Evonik GPS PT 1, 2, 3 6 Plant Maintenance, Project Execution in engineering.
- Clear focus and rationalize plan for spending the W&E and Capex Project budget.
- Co-ordination with internal contractors for internal maintenance activity, measurement review and prepare service report.
- Co-ordination with vendor for AMC visit and preparing service report.
- Preparing details engineering for approval of Service reports from concern authorities.
- Facing maintenance related vendor and certificate audits.
- Get the updated reports from Plant Engineer & give full support to Plant Engineer for day-to-day activities.
- Maintain the Asset life cycle along with MIQA actions to be implement on time.
Education, Certification, And Relevant Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE) with minimum 14-15 years of relevant work experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry.
Technical Knowledge
- Comprehensive knowledge of Asset Life Cycle, various types of plant maintenance, MIQA, utilities, chillers, air compressors, pumps, reactors, piping systems, and MOC (Management of Change) in chemical industries.
- Solid understanding of environmental protection units and legal requirements applicable to the site.
