About the Role

To support the L&D Training Function by delivering training for Field Managers across all Business Units (BUs) focusing on managerial skills, competencies, and identified skill gaps to significantly impact business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Program Execution: Planning, calendarization, and execution of Managerial Training Programs including ASPIRE (New Manager Orientation), UDAAN (Selling Skills), and RCA Refresher Programs.
  • Training Needs Analysis (TNA): Conducting TNA for managers and identifying skill gaps or behavioral needs to develop relevant content and curriculum.
  • Content Development: Designing, developing, and updating induction programs and new training modules based on TNA and current industry best practices.
  • LMS Management: Creating courses on the LMS (e-Gurukul), enrolling managers, tracking course completion, and maintaining high-quality digital learning materials.
  • Field Engagement: Attending review meetings of RBMs and ABMs as an observer to guide them in conducting reviews aligned with business outcomes and asking insightful questions.
  • Training Delivery: Conducting face-to-face or virtual workshops and skill sessions for ABMs and above on a monthly or quarterly basis.

Stakeholder Interaction

  • Type of Interaction: Internal
  • Interaction with: DGM - Learning & Development (Reporting Manager), BU Heads, Sales Heads, CMO, and Field Managers (ABMs/RBMs).
  • Nature of Interaction: Collaboration for TNA, planning field cycle meetings, reporting on training progress, and delivering skill sessions.
  • Type of Interaction: External
  • Interaction with: Training vendors or digital platform providers (if applicable).
  • Nature of Interaction: Ensuring quality check and support for LMS/Digital content and staying updated on industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of total experience, with a minimum of 35 years in a Pharma supervisory role and 35 years specifically in Training or L&D.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in LMS (e-Gurukul), Digital/Computer literacy, and Zoom/Google Meet for virtual training delivery.

Required Skills

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to align with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

Graduate or PG with additional courses in Human Behavior, Managerial/Leadership Coaching, or Training.
