Job Summary

The Marketing Automation Analyst is a key role within the Global Commercial Development team, providing deep technical knowledge of marketing automation solutions. As a liaison to the business, this position acts as an internal consultant with the goal of improving processes and identifying opportunities for innovation through building and maintaining relationships with functional leaders.

The candidate must partner with IT and business functions to evaluate solutions and perform vendor analysis based on solution needs and requirements while managing more complex processes and capabilities under the guidance of the Project Manager/Solution Lead. Responsibilities of this role encompass a variety of functions spanning multiple, concurrent initiatives, including but not limited to the following: leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies, advanced process mapping/design, process reengineering, performing requirements analysis, documenting and communicating the results of any and all efforts conducted. Must have technical knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Health Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Marketing Analytics, and other marketing automation platforms.

Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes and provides guidance relative to emerging trends and strategy; understand business, know pain points, needs and strategic plans.
  • Lead and participate in process to develop requirements; evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, differentiate between actual and required user needs and distinguish user requests from the underlying business problems.
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis, task and workflow analysis and other relevant techniques.
  • Acts as an internal consultant with the goal of improving processes and identifying opportunities for innovation through building and maintaining relationships with functional leaders.
  • Collaborate and engage with appropriate technical support teams for resolving application-level issues impacting business partner operations.
  • Maintain current understanding of trends and issues in the IT industry, including current technologies and investment levels in relevant business processes.
  • Play a supporting role to help shape and inform strategy; collaborate with business partners to successfully execute their plans; analyze business objectives of the stakeholder and develops solutions to their business needs.
  • Expert in solution assessment and validation for customer engagement marketing and digital marketing applications
  • Proactively connect, collaborate and maintain communication with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver project methodology artifacts as needed
  • Provide support and/or direction to project and program manager(s) in overcoming hurdles and moving projects forward by proactively mitigating open issues and project risks; maintain consistent communication channels between all vested parties (steering committee, business sponsors, IT stakeholders, project team, etc.); lead organization change management efforts in areas of responsibility.

Candidates are expected to have the following qualifications, skills, and experience.

For this role, we're looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:

  • Minimum 6-12 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's / Masters Degree in MIS, Information Technology or Computer Information System; Marketing
  • Certification Preferred - Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator or Consultant
  • Hand On experience in API Integrations (SFMC to Other Platforms like mobile, Web, WhatsApp/ Line /Telegram)
  • Experienced in Email, SMS/Instant messaging (Sinch), Mobile and web studio
