JOB DESCRIPTION
BonV Aero is an Indian deep-tech company based out of Bhubneshwar focused on designing and deploying best in class reliable unmanned aerial systems for high-altitude and contested environments. We specialize in heavy-lift and tactical UAV platforms validated in Himalayan terrain, supporting logistics and precision strike missions for our Defense Forces. Our vision is to bring the next generation of aerial mobility platforms that transition from defence to civilian applications, enabling safe and accessible flight for everyday use.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a warm, experienced, and stable professional to lead our Investor Relations function. This is a high-visibility, founder-facing role where you will serve as the critical bridge between BonV's leadership and our investment community. Reporting directly to the Co-founder & CEO's Office, you will own the investor narrative, manage stakeholder communications, and play a pivotal role in our Series A fundraise. You will be responsible for developing and distributing monthly Information Memorandums (IMs), maintaining warm relationships with our existing investor base, and building connections with prospective investors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Investor Relations & Communications •
- Develop, write, and distribute monthly Information Memorandums (IMs) with company updates, KPIs, financials, and strategic insights
- Own quarterly investor updates, MIS reports, board presentations, and shareholder communications
- Craft BonV's equity story with narrative consistency across all investor touchpoints
- Respond to all investor inquiries with warmth, professionalism, and timeliness (48 hour response SLA)
- Prepare Co-founder's for analyst calls, investor meetings, and board presentations
2. Fund Raising Management
- Manage end-to-end investment process coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Prepare, review, and dispatch all investment-related documents (pitch decks, data room materials, term sheets)
- Maintain and organize investor data rooms ensuring documentation is current and audit-ready
- Conduct initial discussions with prospective investors, providing informed overviews of BonV's business and financials
- Support due diligence processes and coordinate responses across departments
3. Relationship Management
- Build and nurture relationships with institutional investors, VC/PE funds, family offices, HNIs, and analysts
- Engage existing investors to foster support across operational, hiring, sales, and strategic activities
- Organize investor days, roadshows, and represent BonV at industry conferences and ecosystem events
- Maintain CRM database with accurate investor contacts, preferences, and interaction history
4. Market Intelligence & Strategic Support
- Monitor peer valuations, analyst coverage, and market sentiment; translate insights into actionable recommendations for leadership
- Track shareholder base dynamics and flag material changes proactively
- Collaborate with Finance on fundraising strategy, valuation discussions, and financial modelling
- Work with Marketing and Communications teams to align external messaging and enhance investor facing materials
- Contribute to building BonV's brand as a credible and attractive investment opportunity
WHAT YOU BRING
Non-Negotiables
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in investor relations, investment banking, equity research, private equity, or corporate finance with demonstrated stability with understanding of Deep Tech Space or UAVs or Defence Tech preferrable
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; MBA or CA/CFA strongly preferred
- IM & Financial Reporting Expertise: Proven track record of creating Information Memorandums, investor updates, pitch decks, and financial reports
- Financial Acumen: Strong ability to interpret, model, and present complex financial data; comfortable with valuation metrics and projections
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal skills with ability to communicate warmly, clearly, and professionally with diverse stakeholders
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling; experience with investor CRMs
PREFFERED QUALIFICATION
- Prior experience at a high-growth, deep-tech, or defence-tech startup
- Existing relationships within the Indian VC/PE or startup investment ecosystem
- Experience with Series A/B fundraising or pre-IPO investor engagement
- Understanding of defence procurement, government contracts, and regulatory frameworks
