Position: Manager (Investment Banking)

Location: Gurugram

Work Mode: Work from Office

Shift Timing: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Working Days: 5 days a week + 1 working Saturday per month

Job Overview

This role involves supporting the execution of M&A and private placement transactions, with a strong focus on financial analysis, valuation, and preparation of client-facing deliverables. You will also collaborate with global teams on cross-border deals within the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in origination and execution of M&A and private placement transactions
• Perform valuation analyses including DCF, LBO, trading comparables, and transaction comparables
• Prepare high-quality pitchbooks, valuation materials, CIMs, and management presentations
• Build and maintain detailed financial models in Excel
• Support due diligence processes and data analysis
• Conduct in-depth company, industry, and market research
• Work closely with global teams on cross-border transactions

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (mandatory)
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking / Transaction roles
• CFA Level I / II (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Capital IQ (CapIQ) and PitchBook
• Exposure to sell-side transactions (preferred)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interest in the technology sector
