This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Infrastructure Operations in India.
This role is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of enterprise infrastructure environments supporting a global workforce. You will oversee day-to-day operations across server, network, and cloud systems, including Microsoft 365, AWS, VPN, and identity and access services. The position requires a strong balance of technical expertise and people leadership, as you guide a team of engineers and administrators in delivering reliable and scalable infrastructure services. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into operational strategies and continuous improvement initiatives. The role plays a critical part in maintaining high availability, compliance, and security across enterprise systems. This is a fast-paced, service-oriented environment where operational excellence and proactive problem-solving are essential.
Accountabilities
- Lead and manage the infrastructure operations team, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Oversee daily operations of enterprise infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, identity systems, and communication tools.
- Ensure system reliability, availability, performance, and security through monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement practices.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into infrastructure roadmaps and operational plans.
- Manage vendor relationships and service providers to ensure quality delivery, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
- Support infrastructure planning activities including budgeting, capacity management, resource allocation, and procurement decisions.
- Drive execution of infrastructure initiatives such as cloud optimization, automation, modernization, and operational enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL practices, security standards, and regulatory compliance frameworks including SOC and HITRUST.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including at least 2+ years in a people management or team leadership role.
- Strong hands-on experience in infrastructure operations including networks, systems, cloud platforms, and security technologies.
- Deep understanding of enterprise networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing protocols) and identity systems (Active Directory, MFA, LDAP, SAML).
- Experience working with AWS and enterprise cloud environments.
- Proven ability to manage vendors, service providers, and cross-functional teams in operational environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and operational planning capabilities.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable communication for diverse audiences.
