Job Description
The Manager Infrastructure Operations is responsible for managing the deployment operation and auditing of the information systems infrastructure in order to deliver a reliable secure and trusted environment. The position manages a team of individuals who respond to and resolve technical problems and ensure business needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the security vulnerability remediation lifecycle across Hyland's infrastructure, ensuring timely assessment, prioritization, and execution of remediation activities across servers, endpoints, networks, and cloud platforms.
- Lead the development and implementation of automation strategies for vulnerability remediation, including patch deployment, configuration enforcement, and validation processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce security risk.
- Foster strategic partnerships with Cyber Security, Infrastructure Engineering, and Support teams to ensure coordinated vulnerability response, address recurring patterns, and implement protocols that prevent reintroduction of vulnerabilities
- Monitor and manage vulnerability remediation queues, SLAs, and aging metrics; ensure team commitments are met and drive continuous improvement in operational documentation, tracking, and reporting processes
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Security Vulnerability Remediation Specialists, developing team expertise in systems administration, scripting/automation, and security remediation across Windows, Linux, cloud, and identity platforms.
- Manage the operation and auditing of the company's information systems infrastructure to deliver a reliable and secure environment
- Provide technical expertise and manage and minimize negative impact to the business caused by system outage, theft, destruction, alteration, or denial of access to information systems and datacenters
- Support the technical needs of departments; establish and evolve procedures, processes, and operational guidelines to ensure business continuity
- Assess solutions that leverage current, new, and emerging technologies that drive process automation and improve organization effectiveness and efficiencies; current business needs are met and operational metrics are achieved
- Manage the strategic planning and licensing of software; and tracking of assets to maintain compliance and integrity
- Develop and manages the annual budget
- Collaborate with management, team members and cross departmental stakeholders in creation and coordination of mutual goals
- Provide managerial direction and develop and communicate quality metrics for team. Measure and hold direct reports accountable for meeting defined performance standards; provide feedback to employees
- Oversee all Human Resources-related managerial functions and responsibilities associated with hiring, compensation management, employment relations, and termination of employees
- Oversee the development of team members; provides coaching to employees through their personal growth in functional expertise, communication skills, and ability to effectively interact with clients and peers. Assist with identifying and developing future leaders.
- Operate as a thought leader among the team; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department
- Serve as an escalation point for issues; provide guidance and resources to assist with resolution of issues, and removing obstacles for team
- Manage the strategic planning and oversight of all projects/programs to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, cost and quality
- Evaluate, define and maintain the process and procedures used by team; Identify opportunities for process improvement and greater efficiency, and serve as an advocate for change
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science or related field
- 12+ yrs of Experience
